Lena Ochkalova

Born in St. Petersburg, Lena Ochkalova is a multidisciplinary artist whose practice spans drawing, printmaking, collage, ceramics, painting and photography. Her work explores the paradoxes of perception and the fragile relationship between imagination and reality. Constructed as visual fables, her compositions observe the shifting nature of consciousness and the ways in which meaning is formed through distortion, reflection and reinterpretation.
